Immediate basic-needs

help—food, diapers, hygiene, formula, utility or rent aid, transportation, and referrals—to stabilize families during stress.

Free, welcoming activities that strengthen parent-child bonding, connect neighbors, and introduce families to local supports and services.

Navigation

This program is designed for children, adolescents, and teens to express their feelings through trauma-informed art workshops. Activities vary and artistic expression is encouraged! Check out our Creative Expressions workshops for upcoming groups focused on varying age ranges and topics.

A Window Between Worlds

A window Between Worlds is a trauma informed healing arts program with workshops that encourage and promote emotional awareness through artistic activities in a safe and supportive environment.

Community Partners 
for Child Safety

Our free, home-based services focus on each family’s strengths and are tailored to meet individual needs. We will help you define and accomplish goals ranging from financial stability, transportation, employment, substance abuse and parent support/education! We make sure immediate needs are met to focus on family centered goals.

Crafternoon

The local library brings programming to the center. Library facilitator coordinates stories, crafts, and activities that all correspond, to create a time where kids and adults can spend time together enjoying themselves at no cost. Grown Zone

Grown Zone is a program that we offer for adults to spend time together, where we provide activities and/or education on various topics.

Imagination Station

Imagination Station is a program with engaging activities for children while parents attend support groups. Crafts, activities, and story time are prepared for those children so that caregivers don’t have to find/secure childcare. Let kids’ imaginations run wild and just be kids! Maybe they’ll invent a game with the other children, or maybe they’ll want…

Kids Corner

Kids Corner is a place for children to play and interact with one another while visiting the center. Adults supervise to keep everyone safe and happy, but this is a space for kids to just be kids. While the kids are having fun, parents can get the resources they need.

Kidz Zone

Kidz Zone is a program with engaging activities for children while their adults attend The Dinner Club and other adult focused activities at the Family Resource Center. Crafts, activities, and story time are prepared for those children so that caregivers don’t have to find/secure childcare.

Laundry Lift

Laundry Lift is held once a month at Doc n Suds Laundromat in Tipton. Detergent and quarters for washers and dryers will be provided at no cost to you.

Lunch and Learn

This is a support group for anyone who is raising kids!

Meals in a Mug

A class led by Purdue Extension that teaches participants how to make single serving meals with just a mug, a few ingredients, and a microwave! Omelets, meatloaf, and cake are just a few of the recipes that have been shared. This a great way to promote independence, while also sticking to a budget.

Susy’s Store

Susy’s Store is your one-stop shop for hygiene items and meals. Take and Make meals are available each day the center is open. They come with all the ingredients and instructions to complete.
