Read To Me (RTM) is a FREE literacy program, provided by SCAN, which offers a book to EVERY child in a family, each month. This effort promotes literacy and provides an avenue for building and strengthening the bond between parents and their children. RTM books are available for children of all ages and range from board books with colorful pictures to storybooks to classic novels.Most books are provided through community book drives and donations while others, such as the new board books, are purchased by our partnering program, BookStart, using monetary donations.English is the primary language but several titles are bi-lingual (English/Spanish), particularly the board books for children ages 0-3.
